Taking the Traditional Cyanotype Printing Method to a Whole New Level!
Come join us at the Old Rock School in Valdese for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn all about the fascinating world of cyanotype printing, and more, with artist Kat Evans of Terra Artemis. In this second workshop of the series, students will enhance their cyanotype printing experiences by learning how to add texture and depth by creating 'wet cyanotypes'. This workshop also includes the process of "bleaching" and toning prints using organic materials readily available in most household kitchens.
The cost of this workshop is $85 per person (ages 16+) with a limited number of spots.
All materials for this workshop will be provided. However, if you are interested in bringing in your own subject materials to work with (ie. flowers and leaves from your own garden) please feel free to do so.
Each participant will take home several prints including a mini hanging wall art and additional materials to make prints at home.
Snacks and beverages will also be provided.
Deadline to register is: Wednesday - November 17th
This workshop will take place at the Old Rock School | Rock School Arts Foundation located at 400 Main Street West, Valdese, NC 28690.
